We were commissioned by Harworth estates to create a carefully considered high-level masterplan on this complex 435 acre former Yorkshire main colliery site. The scheme, which tackled site constraints including dense surrounding woodland, successfully connected towns and communities of Balby and New Edlington by revitalising existing walk trails and cycle ways to encourage pedestrian movement. Our knowledge of the site and quality of work led to our appointment by Gleeson Homes to gain reserved matters approval for 333 dwellings.
