This 173 hectare masterplan for the former Maltby colliery site in Rotherham was prepared for Hargreaves Land. The masterplan includes commercial land with excellent energy and transport infrastructure, as well as residential land and a country park on the pit restoration area. The masterplan demonstrates the vision of the site as a whole, benefiting job creation, quality housing stock, outdoor spaces, wellbeing, ecology and growth. The commercial scheme is complete with anchor tenant Mitchell Bros Auctions. We secured outline planning permission for 200 homes in 2023 which led to a successful sale to a housing developer.
