Spring House Farm, Raskelf

North Yorkshire

This conversion of a range of agricultural buildings was sympathetically designed to provide 9 new dwellings in the picturesque surroundings of a former 18th Century rural farmstead in Raskelf. Existing buildings were brought back to life using natural materials to deliver modern family homes. A strategic planning approach to convert through Permitted Development rights maximised the entire floor plan for residential use. Present features were retained and integrated into the design, including arched openings used as concealed car parking and feature windows to living spaces.
